The PA Junior Angus Association voted on the theme for the 2011 NJAS at their March 28 meeting–“Let Freedom Ring”. The Juniors are very excited to be hosting the largest junior breed show in the nation. Here’s an update on our latest planning activities:
We’re looking for drawings of show logos that can be used with our theme. If any juniors or adults have ideas, please give them to the Decorating Committee Junior Chair, Andrea Foore or Decorating Committee Adult Chair, Nancy Livingston. It will be voted on at the Breeder’s Show. At this time, subcommittee chairpersons are being identified and contacted. A final list will be available in May.
We have received a manual from the National Junior Angus Association to help guide the subcommittees in their work for the next 2 years, and it is being distributed to subcommittee chairpersons as they are contacted.
At the Breeder’s Show in July, all of the subcommittees will meet to begin brainstorming ideas for the 2011 show and begin working on a budget.
